UNITING RESOURCES is
responsible for the management of over 1,000 Uniting Church in
Australia, Synod of NSW and the ACT properties. These include aged care
facilities, churches, hospitals and schools. As a large energy
user, the Church is required to report energy use and carbon
emissions to the Australian Government's NGERS Reporting Scheme. EMISSION STATEMENT is fully managing
this reporting process for 09/10 and 10/11 and assisting in ensuring
that the data reported

EMISSION STATEMENT conducted a carbon audit of Kraft's Australian operations, with a view to understanding NGERS reporting obligations, detailing data management issues and advising on reduction strategies. EMISSION STATEMENT also provided easy to use tools for ongoing carbon management.

3M is one of the world's best
known and most innovative brands. EMISSION
STATEMENT is 3M Australia's chosen carbon audit and carbon
footprint calculation firm. They have utilised EMISSION STATEMENT's services to
understand their environmrntal impact, assess reduction opportunities
and continue to achieve their sustainability goals.
Golden Circle is a truly iconic Australian food company, producing juices, fruit and vegetable products for Australians for over 50 years. Through their carbon audit with EMISSION STATEMENT , Golden Circle now fully understand their carbon emissions impacts and reporting requirements. Ongoing, Golden Circle will be looking at large scale energy efficiency measures and have now made carbon emission reduction an important part of their ongoing practices.
Stryker is the world's leading medical technology company, listed on the Fortune 500 and named one of Fortune's most admired companies. Through their work with EMISSION STATEMENT, Stryker now fully understands its carbon impact, has emissions reduction programs in place and is purchasing carbon offsets to mitigate its current emissions.

MARCS is an Australian and New
Zealand based fashion brand with
significant retail presence. They are working with EMISSION STATEMENT in an ongoing
program to measure and reduce their environmental footrpint. This has
included conducting a carbon audit, setting up an internal Green
Committee, investigating ways to reduce packaging and implementing
internal recycling procedures.
George Weston Foods own
iconic Australian food brands such as Tip
Top, Golden Crumpets and Don Smallgoods. EMISSION STATEMENT
has undertaken carbon audits on many of GWF's manufacturing facilities,
and helped the company understand and prepare for its NGER reporting
requirements. Through it's work with EMISSION STATEMENT,
GWF
is
prepared

the
carbon
economy

is
in
a
position
to
continually
improve and reduce energy use in future years.

The Big Day Out is Australia's
most famous music festival, providing
entertainment to hundreds of thousands of Australian music fans every
summer. Since 2008, EMISSION STATEMENT
has conducted an audit on emissions associated with the festival
including travel, all energy use, consumption and freight. The
organisers
of Big Day Out then purchase carbon offsets from CO2 Australia to mitigate
emissions for the entire event.
Sydney City Toyota is one of
Australia's largest Toyota dealerships,
covering three sites across inner Sydney. In conjunction with Toyota's
Australian Head Office, EMISSION
STATEMENT undertook a carbon audit of Sydney City Toyota's
operations. This audit allowed SCT to understand their current
environmental footprint, and was the catalyst to introduce programs for
improvement. The energy portion of the audit gave the company a number
of recommednations that will lead to long term cost sacings.
The CBAA is the peak body
for community radio and television
stations throughout Australia. The organisation provides leadership,
advocacy and support for members to actively provide a vibrant
community broadcasting industry to all Australians. EMISSION
STATEMENT were engaged by the CBAA to calculate the
organisation's carbon footprint, develop an Environmental Policy for
member stations, and provide ongoing assistance with carbon reduction
measures. EMISSION STATEMENT also contributed an
article "Making Sense of
Carbon Emissions" for the CBAA newsletter.
OfficeMax is a world leading office product supply company. Through their work with EMISSION STATEMENT, OfficeMax Australia now fully understands its carbon impact. They have put in numerous measures to reduce emissions including a company wide energy efficiency plan, improved recycling measures and a switch to low emission office equipment such as LCD screens.
Hunter Douglas and its best known brand, Luxaflex, is well regarded as Australia's leading provider of window coverings for the home and office. Through their work with EMISSION STATEMENT, Hunter Douglas now fully understands its carbon impact and reporting requirements, and is putting in place numerous measures to reduce their emissions through recycling and energy saving measures.
Booderee National Park and Botanical Gardens is located in Jervis Bay, approximately 250 km south of Sydney. The staff and community within the park worked with EMISSION STATEMENT to understand their carbon impact and put in place measures to reduce their emissions. They communicate these results to park visitors and have actively undertaken measures to reduce emissions through solar installations and other programs.

Their commitment to reducing emissions is an important part of the
companies practices, and an EMISSION STATEMENT carbon
audit greatly assisted in determining areas for emission reduction in
lighting, energy use and recycling. EMISSION
STATEMENT also faciltated the creation of ian internal Green
Committee and conducted carbon emissions education services onsite.
The Rip Curl Pro is Australia's most iconic surfing event, held every Easter at Victoria's Bells Beach. Through an EMISSION STATEMENT Carbon Audit, the Rip Curl Pro was able to identify the carbon emissions associated with travel to and from the event of all of its competitors and staff.
Mail Marketing Works is Australia's marketing communication specialist, distributing direct mail for many of Australia's leading names. Through an intensive audit of its operations, EMISSION STATEMENT was able to assist MMW in fully understanding their energy use and carbon emissions. As a result of the audit, numerous emissions reduction initiatives have been put in place and MMW have purchased certified carbon offsets to mitigate their current emissions
